Title [en]
Forced Expulsion of Civilians in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo
Abstract [en]
The purpose of this project is to examine the processes that lead to forced expulsion of civilians in internal armed conflicts and related problems. An important part of the project consists in collecting detailed data on severe human rights violations that occurred in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo during the 1990’s. These data will primarily be used to describe and analyse the connections between warfare, severe human rights violations, and local refugee flows. The data will also be used to analyse the consequences of severe human rights violations on the local conditions for peace and reconciliation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
