Democracy and Social Capital in Segmented Societies
Abstract [en]
Why are some democratic governments in segmented societies more successful than others? Why are some protest movements more successful in mobilising support than others? These are two basic questions investigated in this collaborative project with the help of comparative studies between India and South Africa.
