Abstract [en]

This chapter examines an increasingly important and interesting type ofcivil society activism, tenants’ activism, which has been understudied thusfar and whose members struggle for legitimacy for their claims in the publicsphere. The aim is to study how this kind of activism has been delegitimizedin public discourse and how tenants’ activists struggle for legitimization.The ambition is to broaden the understanding of civil society activism bystudying how conventionally excluded forms of activism and groups functionand struggle for change.
