Abstract [en]

At the start of the 21st century the Church of Sweden (Lutheran) includes a number of religious orders and congregations both female and male (Benedictines, Franciscans and new formations) Their background is largely the high Church movement that developed in the 1910s and 1920s. This article presents and analyses this part of Swedish Church history.
