Abstract [en]

A1233

Who recognizes the opportunity to set up business in Lhasa? How is the business environment for entrepreneurs in Lhasa perceived? Is there a difference in entrepreneurship between the ethnic groups, and foreigners, active in Lhasa? If so, why is that and what affect has this had on the entrepreneurial process of business? The purpose of the study is to examine the context of small businesses and new entrepreneurs in Lhasa. The further aim is to see which of the three categories of factors; environmental, social network and individual factors, have had most affect on the entrepreneurial process of business.
