Abstract [en]

For most people reading an annual report can be a daunting prospect. It is a document shaped by mandatory standards and regulations while other parts, such as the texts, have more voluntary motives. These sections, however, is largely what has made the annual reports swell over the decades and today, the sheer length of the reports and the effort in trying to satisfy all the different stakeholders’ demands can be argued to conspire against clarity in decision-making. Especially for stakeholders with little or no experience of reading larger quantities of company information.
