Abstract [en]

This book, with rich comparative overviews from 28 contemporary European jurisdictions, is the 4th set of European Principles in Family Law, aimed for the harmonisation of family law in Europe and drafted by the research group Commission on European Family Law (CEFL). The focus is on the mutual rights and duties of unmarried couples, so-called de facto unions, in respect of property rights, maintenance and succession.
