Abstract [en]

In this study, I look at morphological ways of expressing plurality in Turkish with the intention of discovering and describing its extended usages. This is done by analysing sentences from two corpora; newspapers with informal, and social media TScorpus with formal sentences. At the end, 16 extended usages are found and described. All 16 are known categories from previous studies. One additional finding is that formal language has a higher frequency of the -lAr suffix, but lower number of extended usages.
