Abstract [sv]

A historical overview of the development of the Church of Sweden in the latter 19th century from an universally prevailing Church to a still esatblished Church, but in a country of free evangelical awakening groups still members, but disagreeing with the Church’s confession and praxis. Swedish subjects had at that time (until 1951) no real possibility leave the established Church.
