Abstract [en]
Information overload is experienced when an individual is exposed to an excessive amount of information, making it difficult to utilize the available data. This paper concerns the development of a custom document management system in collaboration with the company data2value. The finished prototype aims to reduce time spent searching for information by healthcare staff. This is done by allowing users to create and tag segments in documents, which are then highlighted when displayed. Despite some security concerns, the prototype was favourably received by the users and was given positive feedback by the stakeholders.
