Abstract [en]

This report discusses the development of a website that can verify and validate verifiable credentials. Verifiable credentials is an expanding field with the potential of creating a global standard for digital identification but is currently missing tools that make it easy for users to implement and test them. The website can help a user validate the grammar and syntax of a verifiable credential to ensure that the content has not been manipulated between the issuer and the holder. The website is built using React.js and rely on several complete libraries to handle cryptographic signatures.

Den här rapporten diskuterar utvecklingen av en hemsida som kan verifiera och validera verifiable credentials. Verifiable credentials är ett växande område med potential att skapa en global standard för digital identifiering men saknar i nuläget verktyg som gör det enkelt för användare att implementera och testa. Hemsidan kan hjälpa till att validera grammatiken och syntaxen i en verifiable credential för att säkerställa att den följer W3C standarden. Den kan även verifiera en verifiable credential för att intyga att innehållet inte har manipulerats mellan utfärdaren och innehavaren. Hemsidan är byggd med hjälp av React.js och använder färdiga bibliotek för att hantera kryptografisk signering.
