Uppsala University, Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Business Studies. (Entrepreneurship)
2009 (English)Conference paper, Published paper (Refereed)
Abstract [en]

The idea for this paper gradually emerged through the work with a series of performances, Wayfahrer , which eventually focused on the concept of meaning , and what is the meaning of an act, or more precisely a creative act . The performance and paper aims for investigating the possible theoretical connections between art and leadership, using an art process as the inquirymethod for the contemplation of a possible theoretical connection. The paper consists of four parts: 1) an introduction and positioning of the paper, 2) assumption underlying the proposed theoretical connection between artistic leadership and leadership as an art the foundation of a possible concept of meaningful man , 3) a discussion of the consequences of the assumption and a possible rise of the theoretical concept of meaningful man , and 4) thedocumentation of the wayfahrer art project, in photos and a video/DVD.
