Abstract [en]

El artículo es una reflexión acerca de la función social de la literatura. Piñeyro analiza el papel del escritor "comprometido" y el concepto de "obra comprometida".

Su autor -defiende mediante los ejemplos de la novela La colmena, del español Camilo José Cela y de la poesía de Heberto Padilla-, la idea que no hay obra literaria que no se halle comprometida con la sociedad donde ha sido creada.
