Abstract [en]

This article deals with how the beverage SdH (shedeh), which is mentioned on wine jar labels from Amarna and Tutankhamun’s tomb (KV 62), could have been prepared. Step by step a solution is suggested and the article puts forward the comprehension of SdH as a prestigious drink. The origin of the drink have been puzzling scholars for over 100 years but since 2006 scholars at Barcelona University have revealed that SdH was made of grapes. This new knowledge was the key to the suggested solution presented in this article.
