Abstract [en]

This volume includes 14 articles which apply literary theory to themes such as transnationalism and exile, gender and feminism, Arabic bestsellers and the "closed horizons" of the mushrooming city. The articles point towards the events of the Arab Spring in 2010 and 2011.
