Abstract [en]

According to a popular myth, Sweden is "the most secular country in the world". At the same time, as is demonstrated in this chapter,  Swedish family law is sensitive to concerns of religion and faith. The chapter identifies three paradoxes relating to family law and religion in Sweden.
