Abstract [en]

A number of tomb inscriptions demonstrate that the characterization of Jesus in Mk 6:3, "The Son of Mary", finds analogies i normal Greek usage. Many inscriptions indicate cases in which the mother represents the familly, since the father is not around, often because he is dead.
