Syfte: Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka hur kvinnliga bröstcancerpatienters livskvalitet och psykiska välbefinnande påverkas av rehabiliteringsåtgärder som innefattar fysisk aktivitet, psykosociala insatser eller patientutbildning. Metod: Artiklar publicerade mellan oktober 2008 och 31 december 2011 söktes i databasen PubMed. Sexton artiklar valdes ut till denna litteraturstudie. Artiklarna granskades med avseende på kvalitet och resultat. Resultat: Fyra artiklar behandlade psykosociala interventioner, varav två hade positiva resultat. Interventioner med patientundervisning undersöktes i fyra artiklar, och tre av dessa uppvisade signifikanta positiva effekter. Av de åtta artiklar som studerade effekterna av fysisk aktivitet visade sex på förbättringar. Fysisk aktivitet i form av promenader gav mest positivt resultat. Slutsats: Viss evidens finns för att fysisk aktivitet, höjer livskvalitet och psykiskt välbefinnande. Det finns viss evidens för att patientundervisning ökar livskvaliteten hos bröstcancerpatienter. Evidensen för psykosociala interventioner är otillräcklig.

Abstract [en]

Objective: The aim of this literature review was to analyse the effects of physical activity,  psychosocial therapy and patient education with respect to quality of life and psychological well-being of women treated for breastcancer. Method: Articles published between October 2008 and December 2011 were searched in the PubMed database. Sixteen articles were chosen in this literature review. The articles were analysed with respect to quality and results. Results: Four articles explored the effects psychosocial interventions, two of these had positive results. Effects of patient education were analysed in four papers and three of these showed positive effects. Of the eight articles that studied effect of physical activity showed six improvements. Of the physical activity interventions, walking gave the most positive result. Conclusion: Some evidence was found that physical activity, improves quality of life and psychological well-being. There are some evidence that patient education increases quality of life and psychological well-being of women treated for breast cancer. There is insufficient evidence of the effects of interventions based on psychosocial therapy.
