Abstract [en]

The question discussed is this: Given that happiness and unhappiness are intrinsically good and bad, respectively, is it intrinsically better that the world contains a greater rather than a lesser number of happy people, and a lesser rather than a greater number of unhappy people? My answer to the first question is No and to the second Yes.
