Abstract [en]

This article explores the reasons why the Nordic Member States of the European Union prefer to continue to apply inter-Nordic Conventions instead of EU Regulations in their mutual relations, in matters of family law and successions law. Why is this controversial from the point of view of union law? What have been the results?
