Abstract [en]

Experiments with the WASA detector focus on studies of symmetries and symmetry breaking patterns in hadronic systems as well as hadron spectroscopy. The goal is to investigate the properties of quantum chromodynamics in the non-perturbative regime, where confinement and chiral symmetry breaking are distinctive phenomena. Here, we report latest results on decays of the pseudoscalar eta meson and exclusive data on pi pi production which might indicate the existence of a new resonance in the proton-neutron and Delta Delta systems.
