Structure and dynamics of the three dimensional spin glass phase

In a real space picture, the dynamics of spin glasses is intimately related to the spontaneous development of an equilibrium spin structure. The equilibration process is governed by excitation of droplets of spin glass ordered regions. We use this framework to discuss some recent results of spin glass dynamics and to distinguish the spin glass phase from e.g. the frustrated ferromagnetic phase of re-entrant ferromagnets which also shows an aging behaviour, but require a different real space model.
