Abstract [en]

The year 2011 cannot be regarded as an innovatory period in Swedish tort law. The cases (of comparative interest) all deal with already well-known issues. There are though some minor new details to be observed as regards the concept of negligence and damages. Also there are some clarifications with respect to case law development of criteria for both liability and limits of liability when dealing with claims by and against the State. Therefore, the title – or subheading – of thisarticle should read ‘Conceptual and Pragmatic Developments in Tort Law’.
