Distortion, confusion, and impasses: could a public dialogue within Knowledge Landscapes contribute to better communication and understanding of innovative knowledge?

In contrast to former discussions focusing on dialogue between science, policy makers, and the public, the aim of this paper was to focus on the broader com-municative situation related to the innovative knowledge in general and bio-objects in particular and to introduce the concept of Knowledge Landscapes to conceptually capture the present communicative situation.
