Civic Education and Gender Equality: Does civic education change mindset towards gender equality?

Civic education is a fruitful way to influence individuals attitude towards gender equality. This study aim to explore what it is within the civic educational program that contributes to this change in mindset. This is done by conducting focus group interviews with participants in a civic education program in rural areas of Nepal. The results of the study indicates that certain approaches within the civic education program do contribute to influence individuals towards gender equality.
