Drafting a Subject-Oriented Approach on a Learning Organisation towards Corporate Sustainability
Independent thesis Advanced level (degree of Master (One Year)), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
The paper deals with the question of the implementation procedure of corporate sustainability from a subject-oriented perspective. Corporate sustainability is here understood as a volatile culture of decision making processes and a philosophy of management whereby the employer has to embody and to perform sustainable corporate behaviour. Based on this definition of corporate sustainability, the main argument of this paper is that because corporate sustainability is not a fixed concept, but rather a volatile culture of normative decision-making processes which has constantly to be re-assessed, it requests a subject-oriented organisational learning model which centres the employer in its relation to his scope of action and resources.
