Abstract [en]

Hyperon production is an excellent probe of the strong interaction in the confinement domain. The spin observables provide a powerful tool in understanding the underlying physical processes. Expressions of the seven non-zero polarisation parameters of the Omega baryon from decay angular distributions have recently been derived by the Uppsala group. Simulation studies show that all strange and single charmed hyperon production channels have great prospects with the PANDA detector.
