Abstract [en]

This book examnes the evolution of historical professionalism, with the development of an international community that shares a set of values regarding both minimum demands and the criteria of fruitful research and new results. Historical professionalism arose first with Ramke in the 1830s and its propagation was promoted by educational forms, congresses and media.
