Development of a flow reactor (English)
Abstract [en]

 This report deals with the

collaborative project between Fagrell

Produkt Utveckling AB and students

from the Faculty of Science and

Technology at Uppsala University. The

overall objective of the project was

in addition to developing students'

abilities, to help Fagrell with

verification and development of

Fagrells prototype, Fundamental flow

reactor, for flow chemistry. The

uniqueness of Fagrells flow reactor is

that it should be simple and

affordable compared to competing flow

reactors in the market.

The verification was done by

laboratory and simulation sessions.

The verification shows that Fagrells

idea on how to construct a flow

reactor is very good.

The development included both

technology and business. The result of

developments can be helpful for the

commercialization of Fagrell flow

reactor.

Abstract [sv]

Denna rapport behandlar samarbetsprojektet mellan Fagrell Produktutveckling AB

och studenter från fakulteten för teknik och naturvetenskap vid Uppsala Universitet.

Det övergripande målet med projektet var förutom att utveckla studenternas

förmågor, hjälpa Fagrell med verifiering och utveckling av Fagrells prototyp

Fundamental flödesreaktor för flödeskemi. Det unika med Fagrells flödesreaktor är

att den ska vara enkel och mycket prisvärd i förhållande till konkurrerande

flödesreaktorer.

Verifieringen gjordes med laborationer samt simuleringar. Verifieringen visar att

Fagrells idé kring hur man konstruerar en flödesreaktor är mycket bra.

Utvecklingen innefattade både teknik- och affärsutveckling. Resultatet av

utvecklingen kan vara till hjälp för Fagrell vid en kommersialisering av

flödesreaktorn.
