Solar cells based on the sensitization of wide bandgap p-type semiconductors are a new technology in the field of dye-sensitized solar cells and they have been attracting increasing attention since they represent valuable components to fabricate tandem DSCs [1] and photoelectrosynthetic cells for solar fuel production
