Teachers' Continuing Professional Development as an Arena for Constructing the Teaching Profession

In this study, teachers’ continuing professional development (CPD) is seen as an arena for constructing the teacher profession, where different educational actors can meet and struggle about conflicting views on teachers work. The empirical material is government commissions on teachers’ CPD to the Swedish National Agency of Education between 1991-2014.
