    The Node for education and competence in the National network for wind utilization annually publishes a summary of new and ongoing wind power research in Sweden. The aim of this summary is to provide an easily accessible overview of what is happening annually in wind power research for interested parties. This compilation is divided into two sections. The first is a presentation of the research centres and research programmes active in wind power research in Sweden. Then a topic-based list of the wind power research published in 2018 follows where at least one of the authors is active at a Swedish university. Here one also can find doctoral and licentiate theses as well as theses at bachelor and master levels that have been published during the year.

    Uppsala universitet Campus Gotland producerar årligen en sammanställning av svensk forskning om vindkraft i serien Ny och pågående forskning om vindkraft i Sverige. Syftet med dessa publikationer är att intresserade ska få en lättillgänglig överblick av vad som skett under året inom vindkraftsforskningen i landet. Sammanställningen är indelad i två avsnitt. Det första är en presentation av de forskningsprogram och forskningscentra som är verksamma inom vindkraftsforskning i Sverige med fokus på deras pågående projekt. Därefter följer en ämnesindelad förteckning över publicerad forskning om vindkraft under aktuellt år vid svenska universitet, högskolor och institutioner. Där ingår vetenskapliga artiklar och rapporter, doktors- och licentiatavhandlingar samt uppsatser på kandidat-, magister- och mastersnivå samt sammanfattningar med statistik och jämförelser med tidigare år.

I noduppdraget ingår att sammanställa och publicera en analys av utbildningsläget en gång per år. Denna upplaga av Utbildningsläget för vindkraftsutbildningar i Sverige är mer omfattande än tidigare år genom att den innehåller utbildningsläget för två läsår, 2017–2018 och 2018–2019.

    Abstract [en]

    Among plant species introduced to Norway, several are naturalising and spreading in the landscape in an aggressive way. There is an ongoing debate between professionals in nature management and cultural heritage. Policy-makers have selected the year 1800 as a time delimitation: the use of plant species introduced later is to be regulated or even forbidden. Looking back in history, the perception of the introduction of plants between 1750 and 1900 differs from present attitudes. Introduced plants were once regarded as positive contributions that could be used to demonstrate botanic skills and wealth, as well as garden owners' skills in cultivating them. At present, many of the plant species that were once desirable are now regarded as threatening 'aliens'. This article examines changed attitudes towards introduced plants, with an emphasis on the period 1750-1900, when the majority of new plants arrived.
