Abstract [sv]
A one day Symposium is planned at the Rudbeck Laboratory to bring together scientists working on basic biological mechanisms for gene function and gene expression with scientists engaged in genomics and in clinical applications of post genomic data. The symposium will delineate strategies to better understand and exploit complex genomic data to promote healthcare. The prestigious roster of speakers spans from basics of molecular processes to their application for comprehensive analyses of basic disease mechanisms, forming the basis of new generations of diagnostics and therapies.
