Title [sv]
Beräkningsbaserade teori för komplex magnetisk ordning
Title [en]
Computational Theory of Complex Magnetic Orders
Abstract [sv]
Various forms of anomalous magnetic orders are currently of prominent scientific interest. Among these are Kondo lattice coherence, dynamically driven phase transitions, exotic insulator phases, multipolar ordering, and unconventional forms of superconductivity. These low-temperature ordering phenomena represent a considerable challenge within modern computational condensed matter theory. The challenge is not to give an explanation in broad, general terms, but rather provide explanations that are rooted in the material specific features. The aim of this proposal is to develop a computational, materials specific theory of unconventional forms of electronic orders in primarily f-electron materials. We intend to perform frontline computational research to treat complex magnetic orders in solid-state physics. Our research entails both development of new computational schemes and applications of the developed tools to the above-mentioned unconventional ordered phases.
