This chapter problematizes the link between passion and entrepreneurship by departing from the established construct of “entrepreneurial passion”. We stress the need of revising the concept of “entrepreneurial passion” because it is very broad and problematic in its application. We use an empirical illustration of a case where an entrepreneur’s passion assumes extreme forms, to reinterpret both passion and entrepreneurship, and offer then an alternative view on the connections between these two key concepts. An important conclusion of our study is that passion, entrepreneurship and business do not necessarily go well together as posited by the construct of “entrepreneurial passion”.
